Item 8.01. Other Events.
On November 17, 2021, Astrotech Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its intention to actively pursue strategic and accretive acquisition opportunities and the appointment of Tom Wilkinson as Lead Independent Director. In this role, Mr. Wilkinson will focus on identifying strategic acquisitions for the Company and its subsidiaries. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
