ITEM 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure
A representative from Kendle International Inc. (the “Company”) will be giving presentations at investor meetings hosted by Jefferies & Company, Inc. during the week beginning August 8, 2005. A copy of the meeting presentation (the “Presentation”) is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference in this Item 7.01.
In addition, on August 8, 2005, the Company issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing that the Company raised its annual earnings guidance for the full year ending December 31, 2005 to $0.79 to $0.84 per share. The Company also announced that it expects revenue for the full year to be in the upper half of its previously announced guidance range of $200 to $210 million. The foregoing is qualified by reference to the Press Release, which is filed as Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
