On March 25, 2004, WHX Corporation issued a press release announcing
that it has set a meeting date and a record date for its 2004 annual meeting of
stockholders. The Company's annual meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 2,
2004 and the record date for stockholders entitled to vote at the meeting is
April 20, 2004. For additional information, reference is made to the press
release which is incorporated herein by reference and is attached hereto as
Exhibit 99.1.
