Item 8.01 Other Events.
On April 28, 2008, Acusphere, Inc. issued a press release announcing the submission of a New Drug Application (NDA) to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for approval to market its lead product candidate, Imagify™ (Perflubutane Polymer Microspheres for Injectable Suspension). A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference.
