Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 13, 2006, the Company announced that Mr. Gary Miller has been promoted to Vice President for Business Development for its Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Corporation (DMFCC) subsidiary. Mr. Miller has been serving as DMFCC Vice President Japan Business Development. He came to DMFCC from Aurora Labs Inc., where he was Vice President of Product Planning. Mr. Miller has held previous business development consulting positions at Motorola and Proview International, as well as business management positions at Universal Electronics Inc., DataPlay Inc. and Tokai Bussan Corporation.
