Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 28, 2008, Atlantic Coast Federal Corporation announced that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per common share. The dividend is payable on April 28, 2008, to all stockholders of record as of April 11, 2008. The full text of the press release is set forth in Exhibit 99.1.
