INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS FORM 6-K REPORT
Diana Shipping Inc. (the "Company") is reporting today that it has exercised its call with respect to its remaining outstanding 9.50% senior unsecured bonds due 2023 (the “2023 Bonds”). All outstanding 2023 Bonds will be redeemed at a price equal to 103.80 per cent. of the nominal amount for each redeemed bond, together with accrued interest on the redeemed bonds. Settlement will take place on September 27, 2021. The redemption of the 2023 Bonds will be financed with a portion of the net proceeds of the previously announced issuance of $125 million of 8.375% senior unsecured bonds, due 2026 (the “2026 Bonds”) in June 2021.
