Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On October 12, 2007, Richard S. Swanson, president and chief executive officer of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines ("Bank"), presented information regarding recent business growth during a speech at the Bank's 2007 Fall Conference. The Bank issued a news release to provide this information to all members. A copy of the news release is attached to this report.
