Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On July 5, 2007, Thomas M. Goldstein informed the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (the "Bank") that he is resigning from his position as Senior Executive Vice President of LaSalle Bank, N.A., effective July 18, 2007.
The Bank's elected directors are required by regulation to be an officer or director of a member of the Bank. As an elected director, Mr. Goldstein will no longer be eligible to serve on the Bank's Board upon his resignation from LaSalle Bank, N.A. Therefore, effective July 18, 2007, Mr. Goldstein will no longer be a member of the Bank's Board of Directors.
