Item 8.01 Other Events
On August 16, 2016, the board of directors of Cardinal Ethanol, LLC (the "Company") declared a cash distribution of $600 per membership unit to unit holders of record at the close of business on August 16, 2016, for a total distribution of $8,763,600. The Company expects to pay the distribution in August 2016.
