Item 5.02 – Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.
Mr. Larry A. Stark joined First Guaranty Bank (the “Bank”) as an Executive Vice President on August 4, 2008. Mr. Stark’s duties will include but not be limited to general administrative areas of the bank, chief credit officer responsibilities, IT activities, branch operations, strategic planning and balance sheet management. No employment contract has been signed between Mr. Stark and the Bank. Mr. Stark is not an executive officer of First Guaranty Bancshares, Inc.
Prior to joining First Guaranty Bank, Mr. Stark served as the Commissioner of the West Virginia Division of Banking for the previous seven years.
