On Aug 12, 2021, TMX Group announced it completed the acquisition of AST Investor Services Inc. (Canada) and its subsidiary AST Trust Company (Canada). AST Trust Company (Canada) and TSX Trust Company amalgamated to form TSX Trust Company.
