On August 4, 2015, Shire plc (“Shire”) issued a press release announcing a proposed combination with Baxalta Incorporated. (“Baxalta”). A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
On August 4, 2015, Shire also made available a slide presentation in connection with a proposed combination with Baxalta. A copy of the slide presentation is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2 and is incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
