Item 8.01 – Other Events
On June 7, 2005, Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services issued a press release announcing that it had affirmed its ‘AA-’ counterparty credit and financial strength ratings on Nationwide Life Insurance Company (NLIC) and Nationwide Life and Annuity Insurance Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NLIC.
