On May 18, 2005, GeoResources, Inc. (the“Company”)issued a press release that is attached hereto as exhibit 99.1. In the news release, the Company announced that on May 17, our Leonardite facility was damaged by fire and the Company’s production of leonardite was suspended indefinitely.
