Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On May 14, 2021, First Community Corporation (the “Company”), the holding company for First Community Bank, announced that our current director and Vice Chairman, Chimin J. “Jimmy” Chao, subject to his reelection at the upcoming 2021 Annual Meeting to be held on May 19, 2021 (the “Annual Meeting”), will assume the role of Chairman of the Board upon the mandatory retirement, pursuant to the Company’s bylaws, of J. Thomas “Tommy” Johnson at the Annual Meeting. The Company also announced that current director W. James “Jim” Kitchens, Jr. will assume the role of Vice Chairman of the Board at the Annual Meeting.
