Item 1.03 Bankruptcy or Receivership.
On November 25, 2008 Downey Financial Corp. (the “Company”) filed a voluntary petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (Case Number 08-13041), seeking relief under Chapter 7 of Title 11 of the United States Code.
Effective upon the filing of the Chapter 7 petition, the Directors and Officers of the Company resigned their respective Director and/or Officer position with the Company.
