Silberman, has been appointed VP of Marketing for the AMPAD Division of American Pad & Paper Company. Mr. Silberman, 47, will assume overall responsibility for the AMPAD Division marketing plan, and will develop the strategies and tactics to achieve the Division's profit, revenue and market share goals. Mr. Silberman will report directly to James V. Heim, President of the AMPAD Division. American Pad & Paper's AMPAD Division is among the largest national suppliers of writing pads, filing supplies, and retail envelopes to many of the fastest growing office product retailers and distributors. With over 22 years of marketing experience, Mr. Silberman's most recent position prior to joining AP&P was VP of Marketing for American Camper, Inc., a division of Brunswick. He has also held vice president of marketing positions with Wellmark International, a division of Central Garden and Pet, Impact International, a division of ERO Industries and was with the Office Products Group of Esselte Pendaflex in several product management positions.
