ITEM 9.  REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE
On June 9, 2004, the Corporation announced that it expects to meet or exceed its
forecast of mid single-digit sales growth,  excluding  currency  translation and
acquisitions,  for the second  quarter  of 2004.  As a result,  it expects  that
second-quarter  diluted earnings per share from continuing  operations will meet
or exceed securities analysts' mean estimate of $1.24.  Attached to this Current
Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99 is a copy of the  Corporation's  related  press
release dated June 9, 2004.
