On May 21, 1997, registrant issued a press release entitled
Halliburton Company Announces Promotions pertaining, among other
things, to an announcement of the following officer promotions
effective June 1, 1997: Dave Lesar, president and chief operating
officer; Ken LeSuer, vice chairman; and Gary Morris, executive
vice president and chief financial officer. Other registrant
officers will remain in place and retain their current
responsibilities.
