ITEM 7.01. REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE
LaSalle Hotel Properties (NYSE: LHO) today announced that it has
successfully executed a $59.6 million secured loan with KeyBank at a fixed
rate of 5.35 percent. The term of the loan is seven years and is
collateralized by the Company's 282-room Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.
Proceeds from the financing will be used to reduce LaSalle's outstanding
balance on its credit facility. A copy of the press release is filed as
an exhibit to this report and is incorporated by reference herein.
