On January 4, 2000, InaCom Corp. issued a press release announcing that it had entered into an agreement for the sale of certain assets to, and the assumption of certain liabilities by, Compaq Computer Corporation. InaCom and Compaq also agreed to enter into a supply and services agreement (attached to the purchase agreement as Exhibit C) which will provide InaCom access to the product customization and logistics capabilities of the assets sold to Compaq and provide for Compaq's use of InaCom's lifecycle and professional services offerings.
