On April 7, 2006, AmericasBank Corp. (the "Company") announced that
William J. Allen joined AmericasBank, the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, as
Senior Vice President and will be responsible for the growth and development of
the bank's mortgage division. For more information, reference is made to the
Company's press release dated April 7, 2006, which is attached to this Report as
Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
