On February 2, 2010, Jefferson Bancshares, Inc. (the "Company") issued a
press release announcing that the Company's Board of Directors has voted to
suspend the quarterly cash dividend on the Company's common stock in an effort
to conserve capital. For more information, reference is made to the Company's
press release dated February 2, 2010, a copy of which is attached to this Report
as Exhibit 99.1 and is furnished herewith.
