Net income for the three months ended March 31, 2003 was $203,000, or $0.15 basic and diluted earnings per share compared to $174,000, or $0.13 basic and diluted earnings per share for the same three months ended March 31, 2002. The Corporation earned net income of $620,000, or $0.45 basic and diluted earnings per share for the nine months ended March 31, 2003. This compares to $473,000, or $0.34 basic and diluted earnings per share for the same nine month period a year ago. The increase in net income for the three and nine month periods is primarily attributed to an increase in net interest income resulting from the lower interest rate environment in the recent economy. Net interest income increased $50,000 and $275,000 for the three and nine months ended March 31, 2003 as compared to the same periods a year ago. On April 10, 2003 the Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.12 per share for record holders as of April 30, 2003. The payable date for the dividend will be May 15, 2003.
