              META FINANCIAL GROUP, INC.(R) DECLARES CASH DIVIDEND

Storm Lake, Iowa - (May 29, 2007) Meta Financial Group, Inc. (NASDAQ Global
Market -"CASH") announced that the Company will pay a cash dividend of $0.13 per
share for the third fiscal quarter of 2007. This dividend will be payable on or
about July 2, 2007 to shareholders of record as of June 15, 2007.

At March 31, 2007, Meta Financial Group had assets of $729.4 million and
shareholders' equity of $44.7 million.
