Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of
Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.
On June 1, 2005, Convera Corporation Inc. (the "Company") accepted the
resignation of Steven M. Samowich, the Company's Chief Operating Officer. Mr.
Samowich resigned from his position in order to pursue other interests.
