Item 8.01. Other Events
On December 12, 2005, the Board of Directors of First Federal Bankshares,
Inc. (the "Company") announced that the Company had completed a previously
announced stock repurchase program. The Board also announced the adoption of a
new stock repurchase program. The press release providing details of the stock
repurchases is included as Exhibit 99 to this report.
