SUPREME COURT OF QUEENSLAND APPROVES MERGER WITH TABCORP
Jupiters Limited ("Jupiters") is pleased to announce that the Supreme Court of
Queensland has today made orders approving the schemes of arrangement between
Jupiters and its ordinary shareholders and Jupiters and its reset preference
shareholders to allow the acquisition by the TABCORP Group of all of the shares
in Jupiters to proceed.
It is expected that the Court order will be lodged with the Australian
Securities and Investments Commission today and that trading in Jupiters
ordinary shares and reset preference shares will cease from close of trading
today, 31 October 2003.
