                    Lexent Reports Third Quarter 2003 Results

NEW YORK, NOVEMBER 13, 2003 - Lexent Inc. (OTCBB: LXNT) today announced revenue
of $ 27.7 million and a net loss of $6.2 million or $0.15 per share for the
quarter ended September 30, 2003.
