Other Events On July 14, 1999 Lexington Corporate Properties Trust (the "Company") entered into a joint venture agreement with The Comptroller of the State of New York as Trustee of the Common Retirement Fund ("NYSCRF"). The joint venture entity, Lexington Acquiport Company, LLC ("LAC"), will acquire high quality real estate properties net leased to investment grade and non-investment grade single tenant users. The Company and NYSCRF will make equity contributions to LAC of up to $50 million and $100 million, respectively. Property acquisitions will be additionally funded through the use of up to $278 million in non-recourse mortgages. The Company's affiliate, Lexington Realty Advisors, Inc. ("LRA"), has entered into a management agreement with LAC whereby LRA will perform certain services for a fee relating to the acquisition and management of the LAC properties. ITEM 7.
