The following information was filed by CEZ, a. s. in Czech language with the
Prague Stock Exchange as required by its rules and regulations:
CEZ GROUP CONTINUES TO TAKE INTEREST IN SLOVAK ENERGY SECTOR
CEZ has shown an interest in the privatization of Slovak heating plants. More
specifically, CEZ registered, and qualified, for a tender for the Kosice Heating
Plant. The schedule for this tender is fully under the direction of the Slovak
National Property Fund and its advisors; the deadlines for the filing of bids
are not public.
The interest of the CEZ group in the Slovak energy sector continues unabated;
the opening of a field office of the CEZ Group in Slovakia is planned for
mid-February.
