The following information was filed by CEZ, a. s. in Czech language with the
Prague Stock Exchange as required by its rules and regulations:
ALAN SVOBODA TO RESIGN FROM CEZ BOARD OF DIRECTORS TODAY
Today, Alan Svoboda announced his decision to respect the majority shareholder's
opinion and to resign from the Board of Directors of CEZ.
CEZ will request legal experts to prepare expert opinions regarding this case,
including the tenability of police accusations.
Until the legal opinions are prepared, Alan Svoboda will take a leave of absence
and will not participate in the company's management.
