CHANGES IN REGISTRANT'S CERTIFYING ACCOUNTANT

Item 4. On July 29, 1997 Industrial Services of America, Inc. (the "Company")
engaged Crowe Chizek to serve as the Company's independent accountants for the
year ending December 31, 1997. The decision to engage Crowe Chizek was approved
by the Board of Directors by written consent on July 29, 1997.

During the two year period ended December 31, 1996, and through the date
of this report, the Registrant did not consult Crowe Chizek regarding the
application of accounting principles to a specified transaction or the type of
audit opinion that might be rendered on the Registrant's financial statements.

Reference is made to the Registrant's Form 8-K filed with the Securities and
Exchange Commission on July 15, 1997 for further information regarding the
Registrant's change in independent accountants.
