summary version of Nexen's 2005 Sustainability Report, which sets forth our
objectives and performance with respect to integrity, governance, stakeholder
engagement, safety and the environment. A more detailed, 40 page summary of
the Report is available upon request or can also be accessed at
www.nexeninc.com. Nexen believes that our Sustainability Report is an
important part of our commitment to help investors see the value that Nexen's
sustainable business practices create for the Company.
