(Emerald or Company) began trading under the symbol "EMLD" on the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotation System (NASDAQ) National Market System on March 7, 1997. Emerald is a unitary thrift holding company whose subsidiary is The Strongsville Savings Bank (Bank). The reorganization resulting in Emerald becoming the holding company of the Bank was completed on March 6, 1997.
