Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On July 23, 2008, Westfield Financial, Inc. (the "Company") issued a
press release announcing its financial results for the quarter and six month
period ended June 30, 2008. The press release also announced the declaration of
a regular cash dividend of $0.05 per share, payable on August 21, 2008 to all
shareholders of record on August 7, 2008. A copy of the press release is
attached as Exhibit No. 99.1.
