On June 30, 2004, CFS Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press
release announcing its quarterly cash dividend. For additional information,
reference is made to the Company's press release, dated June 30, 2004, which
is included as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference
thereto.
On July 2, 2004, the Company issued a press release announcing its
purchase, subject to the receipt of requisite regulatory approvals, of an
office building in Darien, Illinois for the purpose of a new banking branch
office for the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Citizens Financial Services,
FSB. For additional information, reference is made to the Company's press
release, dated July 2, 2004, which is included as Exhibit 99.2 hereto and is
incorporated herein by reference thereto.
