On January 23, 2006, NGP Capital Resources Company, a Maryland corporation
(the "Company"), issued a press release announcing that it has closed a $16.9
million senior secured credit facility with Piceance Basin Properties, LLC. The
text of the press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
