On March 30, 2006, NGP Capital Resources Company, a Maryland corporation
(the "Company"), issued a press release announcing that it has closed a $25.0
million senior secured credit facility with a private Houston, Texas based oil
and gas producer. The text of the press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to
this Form 8-K.
