On November 2, 2006, ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the "Company") announced
financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 and provided an
update on progress towards achievement of 2006 goals. A copy of the press

Current Report on Form 8-K.

In its press release dated November 2, 2006, the Company provided a summary of
progress toward achievement of its corporate goals for 2006 under the heading
