ITEM 8.01. Ibis Technology Announces Notice of Voluntary Dismissal filed by
Plaintiff in Shareholder Derivative Litigation
On April 10, 2007, Ibis Technology Corporation announced that the plaintiff in
the shareholder derivative litigation pending in the United States District
Court for the District of Massachusetts against the Company, as a nominal
defendant, and certain of its directors and officers, has filed a notice of
voluntary dismissal with the Court. A copy of the press release is being
furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K. This information
shall not be deemed "filed" for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities
Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the "Exchange Act"), or incorporated by
reference in any filing under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, or the
