On June 29, 2007, Atlantic Coast Federal Corporation announced that its
Board of Directors has voted to increase the quarterly cash dividend rate from
$0.13 per common share to $0.14 per common share. The higher dividend is payable
on July 30, 2007, to all stockholders of record as of July 13, 2007. The full
