            Quality Systems, Inc. Announces 2 for 1 Stock Split

IRVINE, Calif., January 31, 2006 - Quality Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: QSII)
announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a 2 for 1 stock split
with respect to its outstanding shares of common stock.

The stock split record date is March 3, 2006 and is expected to be distributed
to shareholders on or about March 24, 2006.
