INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BANK OF ISRAEL LIMITED

The Industrial Development Bank of Israel Limited ("Registrant" or "Bank")
issued an Immediate Report on September 7, 2008, stating that on September 4,
2008, Lehava Underwriters Ltd. filed an objection with the Tel Aviv District
Court against the approval of the settlement and arrangement plan between the
Bank and its shareholders ("the Arrangement Plan"), the approval for which the
Bank filed an application on July 6, 2008. Lehava Underwriters Ltd. filed a
derivative claim against past and present officers of the Bank and its objection
relates to the waiver of claims against the officers of the Bank which is part
of the Arrangement Plan. It should be noted that the application of Lehava
Underwriters Ltd. to certify the filing of the derivative claim was denied and
its appeal against the denial of its application is pending before the Israeli
Supreme Court.
