On March 31, 2008, Conseco Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release
announcing its financial results for the quarter and year ended December 31,
2007, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated
herein by reference. Additional financial information related to the Company's
financial and operating results for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, and is
also attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2 and is incorporated herein by reference.
