On April 6, 2005, Astoria Financial Corporation (the "Corporation")
issued a press release stating that, on April 21, 2005, the Corporation is
expected to release its financial results for the first quarter ending March 31,
2005 at approximately 8:00 AM (ET) and host an earnings conference call at 3:30
PM (ET).
