ITEM 2.02 RESULTS OF OPERATIONS AND FINANCIAL CONDITION.
On April 28, 2005, Brooke Corporation (AMEX: BXX) issued a press release
announcing its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2005. A
copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS.
PRESS RELEASE. On April 29, 2005, Brooke Corporation issued a press
release announcing a $.16 per share quarterly cash dividend on its common stock.
The dividend, declared by the Board of Directors on April 28, 2005, will be paid
on May 27, 2005, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on May
13, 2005. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.2 to this Form
8-K.
