On September 7, 2005 NeoMagic Corporation issued a press release announcing a
patent licensing agreement with Sony Corporation for net proceeds to NeoMagic
Corporation of approximately $5.6 million. The full text of the press release is
attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
