On October 27, 2005, Molecular Devices Corporation ("Molecular Devices")
reported its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2005. A copy
of the press release issued by Molecular Devices on October 27, 2005 concerning
the foregoing results is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated
herein by reference.
